    Game of Thrones

I haven't read the books, but I absolutely love the series. I've had a HUGE crush on Peter Dinklage ever since he was on a sadly short lived show called Threshold. I just love how filthy and seedy it is, and how it manages to get right to that point where I feel like I should avert my eyes and blush, and then pushes a little bit beyond it. My favorite characters are Tyrion, obviously, and Daenerys. I have the utmost respect for the Starks, but I also think they are boring boresacks of boredom. Teams Lannister and Targaryan all the way.

I am sure it is not. Netflix and HBO are mortal enemies. HBO does not license shows for Netflix streaming ever.

“HBO is becoming more Netflix-like, and we’re becoming more HBO-like doing originals. The two of us will compete for a very long time,” Netflix head Reed Hastings said yesterday at a UBS media conference.

Personally, I wish Netflix would quit throwing money at HBO-like original programming, and stop bothering with mediocre TV series like Knight Rider and Saved by the Bell, which Hulu does better anyway. I would rather they concentrated their money and energies on buying better streaming movies. Their streaming movie titles lately have been junk. But I am straying off-topic. I don't have HBO so I will probably never see Game of Thrones.

Add me to the list of fans. I love this show, although it can be hard to watch at times. Aren't the baby dragons awesome?

OMG, tonight's episode was SO good. It had everything I want from a tv show, sweet chubby boys, lies, betrayal, boy on boy, sword fights, strong women. I feel like I could run around the block I am so energized.

I just started watching this, and I have to say I'm addicted. I just finished Rome, so I was looking for something good to watch.

First :O I LOVED Knight Rider as a child, and tolerated Saved by the Bell. Second, Netflix has gotten crappy. I pay for it almost solely for the kids programming. I wish there was a way to watch the free version of Hulu on Xbox live. Third, *ahem*Torrents*ahem*. That is all!

Oh yessss. I have it in my queue, but I never see anything I want because my kids snarl anytime I come near the TV. Richard is so, so sexy, and he and the female lead look so good together. People used to ask if they dated because they had so much chemistry.

Almost every fantasy/scifi book rips off others. A lot of them take their leads from the LOTR series, I Am Legend (the original book), or any other literary classic and hit. Doesn't keep them from being a good read. We all build on something. That, or the English (Engrish) language would need inventing with the birth of each new person. I loved the series. It had great visuals, and I loved Richard, and the evil guy (his name escapes me). So sexy.

I don't know if it is on Netflix. If you subscribe to HBO, it is on HBO Go. It is also on Amazon Instant Video, but you have to pay for it there.

Here is a trailer for season 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfAE3hIaPm4

I love Game of Thrones! I am going nuts though because we don't have HBO anymore I want to read the books but I've been warned it may ruin the series so I'm going to wait.
