What OS is on your computer you use for Mturk? Are you using a old XP computer until it dies before getting a new one with Windows 7 or 8? Are you running the Windows 8 beta that Microsoft has released to the public?
Something older than XP!
I am staying with XP until I upgrade!
I am on Vista!
I have Windows 7!
I am testing Windows 8 for working on Mturk!
I use Mac OSX!
I use Linux/Free BSD for my turking needs!
I use something else on my tablet/smart phone!

What new technology does is create new opportunities to do a job that customers want done.
For people that don't know, you can run them all with virtual software such as VirtualBox.
I currently run Windows 7 as my main install, and I have Mac OS X and Ubuntu Linux running virtually whenever I need them. Switching between the 3 depending on what I am doing and what programs are best for the task at hand. So it looks something like this:
Windows = Surfing, Turking, Gaming
Mac OS X = Anything that has to do with designing anything
Linux = programming

I have Windows 7 on my laptop and XP on my relatively old desktop.

My main laptop runs Windows 7, and I run Mac OS X virtually on VMWare for programming. My other laptop runs Windows Vista. It's due for a wipe, at which point I will probably install Windows 7 (or 8 if it comes out before I get around to that...).
Linux for everything. I do use Wine to run Bookworm, but that's as Windowsy as it gets.
I am using Windows Vista on a Dell laptop for basic at home work assignments. I don't plan on upgrading to Windows 7. Normally, I run Mac OS X on my iMac desktop for design and art assignments. Depending on the work I do for the day, I tend to surf on both.

I've got Windows 7. I've seen Windows 8 and I'm kind of scared of it to tell you the truth.
I've got Windows 7 64 bit. For the applications that work on it it's great. There are a few that have problems with the 64 bit part though. And surprisingly, one of them is one of Microsoft's own accounting systems, SL, which I have to run in a Windows XP virtual maching.

I'm saving for a new Mac. I'm hoping they announce their new model within the next month or so, then i can dump Windows!
