Thread: Decorah Eagles Live Webcam

  1. #11
I watched a tv show about eagles and they really go through a lot over a cold winter. The babies can be a bit ruthless to each other too. Of course, that's the normal highlights of a nature show. Thanks for the link and look forward to seeing the babies.

We have an eagle cam here in Oklahoma too. They now have four different camera views from two different nesting locations. Last year the baby fell from the nest very early. Hopefully things will be better for the couple this year.

It's exciting to see that this pair has three eggs. Most of the nests I have watched in the past had two or one. I am eager to see them start to hatch!

This is an awesome website. My husband and I are addicted to watching the eagles. They move and zoom the webcam view around a couple of hours in the morning so you can get a better view. I just saw one of the eagles sitting out on a limb and then he flew off. I can't wait until they hatch.

The really fun time is when the eaglets are hatched and you get to see the parents constantly bringing in food and housecleaning their nest. It can get exciting to see a live fish get dropped into the nest and the little guys crawl over each other to get to it! Or how they snuggle against the weather or call out to their parents. I really love it and I'm glad others do too.
