Thumbs up Jewelry Cleaning - cheap and simple solutions

We all learned a lot from writing thousands of jewelry tips for Leger, but are we putting that knowledge into use? Here are some excellent items to use to clean your jewelry:

This uses only tap water and doesn't require chemicals, which is great for anyone with sensitivities.

This one is a bit more cost-effective.

This is the cleaning solution you're best using with water.

The key to long-lasting jewelry is maintenance, so consider whether or not you are taking the best care of your jewelry you can be.

I have a steam jewelry cleaner that I love and use often. It blasts the dirt away in a second and my jewelry looks brand new after I clean it. If you are lucky enough to receive jewelry as a Valentines gift (I wish), it would be a great investment to keep it clean. Or, if you want to give a great gift to someone that loves their jewelry this would be an awesome gift to receive.

If you're cleaning jewelry with stones, particularly multiple small stones, be careful & be sure to check the piece after cleaning. I used to work at a jewelry store, and I can't tell you how many times the steam cleaner blew out loose stones. I would think these home models are not as strong, but just a word of caution.
