The answer is rhubarb. This is National Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Day. My grandmother used to make a lot of these pies because she grew both rhubarb and strawberries. I did not know it is a vegetable--not a fruit. Also, "Rub a cut stalk of rhubarb over a burnt skillet and let the high oleic acid content do the work. It’s been a primary ingredient in many cleansers for over a 100 years." I did not know that either. Good morning everybody

Hello, I've seen some of your questions about my HIT. My server is under the maintenance, so it means I cannot pay although you've made Q&As.
The website is undergoing testing and may be turned off at any time. When I finished my server maintenance, I'll let you know. Maybe one week or more ..?

    Thanks for your interest

    Morning all

I came across this yesterday. I'll install it later today to see exactly what it is.....if it let's you search quals out of the database it writes to your machine or if it just enters records for quals you already have. Looks useful either way though. Have any of you used this?

    Good morning super turkers!

I don't think I have had Rhubarb Pie in my life. I'm not even sure what a rhubarb is.

I love Rhubarb, I have had pie, and I also will make a topping for ice cream with it. @Bear , I have seen it frozen in Harris teeters here, it is super tart so you will definitly want to sweeten it. As kids we are it raw from the garden and loved how sour it is, like a lemon
