    newbie questions -- PandA? autoaccept?

I'm new to this with just over 100 HITs. I was reading in the Tips and Tricks for Newbies forum and have questions about this:

Autoaccept Link/PandA(Previewandaccept):- Clicking on an autoaccept link will automatically accept the HIT for you. When you open a HIT, the URL bar usually shows:- https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=XYZABC123. You can convert the link to Autoaccept by simply adding "andaccept" after "preview" so it should look like https://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewa...upId=XYZABC123.
    What is PandA?
How is this any different from hitting the Accept and Work button in mTurk?
If there is some automation that automatically accepts HITs for you, do you run the risk of them expiring before you get to work on them?

    thanks in advance!!

PandA is defunct. It was from the old board and no longer makes any sense. We still refer to HIT watchers as "pandas" because we're used to it and we like it. We also resent the new board so much that we refuse to allow new facts to change our vernacular.

Oh and yes, there are scripts which can accept HITs for you. That is what we refer to as a panda. And yes, one must take care not to allow them to expire.

Which scripts do you use to catch HITs. I just use Panda Crazy and I think it sometimes falls asleep.
