@Carebear. Been meaning to ask you ---important question of day. Does toilet water really swirl the other way where you are? Do tropical storm winds go the opposite way?

Toilet bowl flows are more a function of design and how the water hits the bowl but tropical storms do rotate the opposite direction because of the Coriolis effect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXaad0rsV38

Is a very fun and informative video on the subject.

LOL some toilets swirl the opposite and some swirl the same as the US. Sad to say its actually the design of the toilet which dictates the swirl direction. The water level is a lot lower in our toilets though. As for storms I've not seen one up close in either country - and am not keen on doing so either :P

Good morning, Nation peeps! Here's to an awesome Thursday!

I Carl Sagan. My fave quote of his is one he said to his daughter when he was close to dying: "You are not only beautiful, but you also have enormous gorgeousness."

I can read Carl Sagan all day. I love him also. Here is another favorite of mine. “It pays to keep an open mind, but not so open your brains fall out.”
