I guess If I knew this, I had forgotten. Since peanuts are grown underground like potatoes, they are legumes.

I got power back late last night. I have fence and tree damage--won't be around too much 'til I get problems fixed. House appears to be okay. I saw on yesterday thread everybody else is Florida is accounted for. That's good. FYI. I never heard heard wind like that of Irma.---For 24 hours, it sounded like wailing banshees. I was alone with my doggie. We were scared.

I am so sorry you had to go through that alone, but I am so happy to see you are OK with only minimal damage!!

morning - glad to see you back and that you and your canine kid came away physically unscathed! I went through a baby hurricane in CT in the 80s, Gloria. Wind gusts over 100 and that was scary enough - can't imagine Irma!

I am so glad you and your doggie are okay. It was scary, too, for those of us not in FL watching/listening to so many news reports and praying everyone came through that hell of a storm safely.
I've reached the AGE where my BRAIN has switched from "I PROBABLY SHOULDN'T DO THAT" to "WHAT THE HELL, LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS."
