    Qualifying questions

    Hi gang,

But a Turker for a while now, although unfortunately, between two outside part-time jobs, I don't have time to post much.

I had a question about qualifying questions. Other than asking for my mTurk ID, I thought qualifying questions by requesters aren't allowed, am I wrong?

Here's the reason I'm asking, It refers to this HIT.

"Simple Questionnaire - Takes just 5 minutes
Requester: Collin Reward: $0.75 per HIT HITs Available: 8 Duration: 60 minutes
Qualifications Required: Total approved HITs is not less than 1; HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 90; Location is US

I accepted this HIT, clicked on the survey link, it brought up a new window with a couple of qualifying questions about what cell phone I use.
    Is this allowed?

Thanks for any clarification anyone can provide.

They can't ask for personally identifying information, such as your name, address, phone number or email address. This also includes asking you to log in to other websites, such as facebook or twitter. Anything that's not personally identifying is okay.
Eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation. Batch HITs for newbs. 1000 req'd. 5000 req'd.
