Hi everybody! I also love to craft. my passion is quilting weather it be bed quilts or throws or just a wall hanging. I also love to hand applique!
I have been doing lots of rag quilting because you can do it so fast and the quilting is done as you go and no binding (YEA)
My grandaughter did her room in a Paris motif so I made her these to go on her bed. She loves them! I enjoy others projects. I know there are more of us so lets post our crafts turkers....

@margaretd1949 Those are gorgeous! Quilting is a craft that I've always wanted to try, but I've always been a little daunted by. I have a HUGE stack of concert/festival tees that are going to be a quilt - - - - - one day. I'd love to see some other stuff you've made!

Just stumbled on this from @Podkayne 's signature. Awesome stuff everyone! I wanted to share the first table I built with my old man!

@tstone8, that table is GORGEOUS! I love the idea of woodworking, but after two people in my massage school class had horrific accidents while we were in school (not AT school, just while we were in the program), I'm totally skeered of power tools bigger than a Dremel!

Also, I spent some time at the bead table over the last couple of weeks. I'm glad you posted in here and reminded me...I'll get some pics and post them

OK, so both phone cameras I have access to SUCK, and I don't know where my digi camera is. I reallllly need to get a light box and take good pics, but here's what I've made over the last couple of weeks or so. Sorry the pic quality sucks, these pics REALLY don't do these pieces justice.

All of these are made with glass, crystal, stone, wood or clay beads. No plastic, not ever (plastic beads give me the willies!).

Yeah it can be dangerous, my dad actually cut his thumb off, but they were able to save it!

YIKES! Glad they were able to save it and he didn't have to have a toe-thumb! Yeah, I'll just stick with my Dremel and appreciate what other folks do with the big scary power tools, lol

So I finished my latest project and I just had to show it off. We took a 5 dollar table we found in a yard sale cleaned it up and repainted it. The top is a chalkboard.
