  1. #21
I love crafting! I mainly do garment sewing and cross stitch. Wish I could post pics but my camera is being a pain right now

So me and my wife like to do crafty type stuff. We have done quilling where we have done a few nice projects for family members. Are other new fun craft is doing greeting cards. We are hoping to get our christmas cards done soon maybe sell them. We were thinking of even doing craft shows with them. I do photography as well but not sure if that is a craft.

So, this is what I've been working on lately....fairy wreaths/headbands to sell/trade at the festival I'm going to in October (YAY, Suwannee Roots Revival! If you're in the Southeast, check out www.musicliveshere.com wknd of Oct. 13th) I've made eleventy billion of these and never had an issue, but when I got the eucalyptus from the craft store last week, one pack was fine, but the other was like, dry rotted and powdery and gross...luckily, there was that crazy CRAZY sale on Sharpies, so I wound up driving to the town where the craft store is and the Office Depot is yesterday and getting it exchanged, so I'll be making more of these, probably tonight

Oh, and here's the FORTY TWO Sharpies I scored for $11.20!!!!

OK....quilling...is that paper quilling, or is there another type? Some of the crafty groups I belong to on FB have some paper quillers that are out of this world amazingly talented! It's a craft I never really knew anything about until maybe a year or so ago. Paper or not, show us some pics if you have 'em!

Yeah, the color selection on the Sharpies was a little beat down because I got there late in the week of the sale, but STILL! I'm stocked for years lol....I'll be doing some shrinky dinks soon, for sure!

Gosh, this feels like I'm resurrecting a zombie thread, but yeah.. I'm one of those multi-crafters too. I started off with needlework when I was a kid, and I've done cake decorating, sewing, knitting, crocheting, polymer (and epoxy) clay sculpting, really anything that captures my fancy. It keeps my busy brain occupied. Love seeing the diversity of people's crafts here!
