So proud of myself!

Hey everyone! So as some of you might remember I started turking about ten days ago. Well I have to admit, I haven't been feeling my best lately...but everyday I'd make myself go to mTurk and at least work for a little while so it could count towards my first ten days as a newbie--not only to eliminate the 100-HIT-per-day cap, but also so all of the "payment pending" messages I'd have would change to "paid" and I could transfer my earnings to my bank account. I thought my 10th day wouldn't be until tomorrow, but I guess it's today; almost all of my approved HITS now read as "paid"! YES!!! I transferred all of my paid earnings (about $40) to my bank account immediately since I'm just as paranoid of my account being frozen as a lot of you :P and my current earnings from the time I started stand at about $51.82. Now that my limit has been raised I probably won't shy away from some of the slightly cheaper hits as much, but I'm proud of myself for checking each HIT carefully and deciding if it was really worth my time. And for the most part, a good majority of them have been.

Just trying to offer some hope. I know this sure turned my crappy mood around.

Well done, you did way better than I did in my first ten days. Perseverance is the key so read up on the good requesters and one day soon you'll be pulling in the big money when you want it.

I read on here quite a few times that there's a 100 HIT per day limit for the first 10 days. You're right that it must be new because I read about Turkers that signed up long ago when there was no such thing.

Thanks for the good wishes, everybody! I'm hoping today's going to be as good of a day for mTurk as yesterday seemed to be!

Whoo Hoo! You did great. I initially joined in 2008 and think I had 550 hits and just $15 in a month. I didn't come back till earlier this year and got into the swing of things.
