What are the changes we have seen for workers on AMT over time?

    - the addition of the "you're refreshing too much" error
    - the addition of a 3,800 HIT per day cap
    - the addition of a queue (you can't accept more than # HITs at one time)
    - the addition of how much you made every year on the dashboard
    - payment through Amazon Payments instead of mTurk itself
    - switch from Requesters being responsible for sending tax information to workers to Amazon, and only if you make $20k or do lots of HITs
    - Indian workers begin to be paid in Rupees by cheque in 2010
    - Indian workers get bank transfers 2015
    - addition of masters, change to search bar at top of page for workers, creation of masters forum, provided priority email address for masters to use (now abandoned)
    - queue increase from 10 to 25
    - removed link to contact requesters you are not qualified to work for
    - changed to moving money to bank from amt to moving it through amazon payments
    - change from instant sign up to approval process
    - blocked international sign ups in 2012
    - added social media accounts
    - changes to tos over time, has become less protective of workers (can now ask people to download/install stuff)
    - addition of adult qualification
    - addition of state qualification
    - cleared out old unused quals once
    - used to post on tn, communicate, focus groups, surveys
    - added "loading next hit" text on submit
    - added ar-wa audits
    - added "auto accept next hit" checkbox
    - added "click here to accept the next hit avialable" text when the hit you tried to accept was accepted by someone else first
    - added advertisment for hits at top of page (rescinded)
    - added captchas
    - added you are refreshing too much error
    - added Service Health Dashboard link
    - removed ar-wa audits Dec. 2015
    - now show bonuses on Dashboard for days you do no HITs
    - Workers statistics (Number approved, number rejected, bonuses earned) have been removed from the Weekly report
    - (May 2016) The addition of a second drop-down menu when reporting a HIT that allows you to select the exact reason for your report
    - (May 2016) Invitation to workers to beta test the new worker GUI
    - (May 2016) International workers who applied since 2012 begin to have applications approved
    - (July 2016) Throttling - if you're working on a batch of HITs you keep getting kicked back out to the search page

    What am I missing?

Amazon has never admitted to this, so this is conjecture

    - Removed returned and abandoned stats from the worker dashboard
    - decreased the (Centove forgive me I don't know the proper language here) cookie-certificate expiry time requiring more frequent logins

Not worker platform changes, but worth griping about:

    - Removed the ability for Requesters to contact workers in the Web UI.
    - Added "DoesNotExist" & "IsOneof" comparators to some of the supported languages/Web UI
Eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation. Batch HITs for newbs. 1000 req'd. 5000 req'd.

We should do a requester list too, they've had much more good things happen...
    - blocked international credit cards & non-US Amazon Requester accounts 2010
    - forced funding through amazon payments 2014
    - no longer support CLT as of late 2015
    - added ability to reverse rejections (2012?)
    - added GUI templates (previously was API-only)
    - defaulted Masters in all templates
    - made some templates approve-only
    It's all good.

    Dec. 10th:
    - Can now choose to see 10, 20, 50 or 100 items per page on queue page, search pages, qualification pages
    - Can no longer see how many workers have a qual, either as a worker or as a Requester
    It's all good.

    Dec. 17th, 2015:

You are receiving this message because the Categorization Masters or Photo Moderation Masters Qualification is assigned to you. In an effort to increase the amount of work available to the best performing Workers and to provide Requesters with an exceptional Worker community, we have granted the Masters Qualification to all Workers with Photo Moderation Masters or Categorization Masters Qualifications. To simplify the Masters Program, the Photo Moderation Masters and Categorization Masters Qualifications will be retired on January 31, 2016.
    It's all good.

I notice in the Requester UI, the option to select/deselect the masters qualification now appears on the HIT properties tab, without needing to navigate through sub-menus to find it. It is still selected as the default, but it is easier to remove.

When you hover the link that says "Who are Mechanical Turk Masters" a modal pops-up that reads:

"Mechanical Turk has built technology which analyzes Worker performance, identifies high performing workers, and monitors their performance over time. Workers who have demonstrated excellence across a wide range of HITs are awarded the Masters Qualification. Masters must continue to pass our statistical monitoring to retain the Mechanical Turk Masters Qualification
Eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation. Batch HITs for newbs. 1000 req'd. 5000 req'd.

Not sure when this was added, but it's nice to check it when things are not working:
    - added Service Health Dashboard link

I don't know how long it's been this way, but previously when you got a bonus on a day you didn't work it wouldn't show up on the dashboard. I noticed today that bonus days now show up with 0/0/0 and the bonus as the amount earned that day.
    It's all good.

Workers statistics (Number approved, number rejected, bonuses earned) have been removed from the Weekly report. Now only shows amount earned. Makes no sense to remove these metrics.
