I heard that some requesters use turk prime for this.

Sure, but if you don't have to, why bother?
    It's all good.

    Thank you for posting this!

I am having trouble with the last step, of uploading the CSV file before publishing. I was never prompted for this.

    Thanks,
    Daisy

If you are not being prompted to upload a file, then you have not placed a ${variable} in your HIT. That is what triggers the prompt to upload a CSV.
Eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation. Batch HITs for newbs. 1000 req'd. 5000 req'd.

Hi, could anyone provide any comment on the update in the Workaround from Nov. 3, 2017 http://amazonmechanicalturkworkaround.blogspot.ca/

"Amazon's Terms of Service have changed. YOU MUST USE A QUALIFICATION AFTER YOUR STUDY HAS COMPLETED. If you "knowingly publish HITs that Workers will be required to return after accepting them" you are violating Amazons TOS. After your study has been completed, download your csv. Remove all columns except for Worker_ID In the cell next to worker ID create a new header " UPDATE-" with your qualification name Upload new csv to your requester account Attach qualification to any hits you do not want repeat participation. You can still use unique turker, but you must prevent previous participants from being able to accept the new publishing of the HIT.

I wouldn't worry about it, mTurk doesn't police their own TOS. It'll only be an issue if someone reports your HIT. I still use the workaround and have had no issues.
    It's all good.
