Tips, Tricks and Scripts to make the Daily HITs Thread easier to use

    mmmturkeybacon Show Only HIT Posts

Show only posts that contain links to mturk.

    https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/89...only-hit-posts

    -*-

mmmturkeybacon Ghost HIT Buster for Forums

Searches forum posts for HIT links, follows them, determines if the HIT is still available, and strikes the post if the HIT is ghost or changes the link text to show the automatic approval time if the HIT is available. Using this script will increase the number of page requests you make to mturk and may cause Page Monitor to give false alarms.

Thank you so much for the original changes, swole_hamster!!

    -*-

    MTurk Auto-Accept changer

    https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/62...mturkgrind-com

Adds a link called "PreviewAndAccept" after preview links posted in the Daily HIT Threads.

    -*-

    MTurk Great HIT Export

This script allows you to copy the content of a HIT in a format ready to paste into our daily HIT thread. Here is an example:

Title: Please review: Check filtered product reviews for second criteria and flag for editing
Requester: AR - WA [APNS5NWDNIMCL] (TO)
Description: Review a hit with the following description: Check filtered product reviews for second criteria and flag for editing
    Time: 24 hours
    Reward: $0.03
Qualifications: Product Reviews is not less than 95, WA Project Qualification is not less than 1

    Instructions:

    1. If you don't have Tampermonkey installed in Chrome, install it: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...mpobfkfo?hl=en.
If you don't have Greasemonkey installed in Firefox, install it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../greasemonkey/.

    2. Download the latest version of mTurk Great HIT Export script: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/91...eat-hit-export

    3. Do a search for a HIT you'd like to share and you'll see a little square which says vB next to the title of the HIT on the search page, like this:

Click on the vB icon and a small window will pop up. The default template is not the same as the one I have above, it also has a Turkopticon rating area.

Whenever you want to post a HIT, just click the vB icon, copy what's in the popup window by pressing Ctrl-C, and then paste it into a post here by pressing Ctrl-V.

This seems like a great idea, but, at least for me, it's striking out all hits on the daily thread, not just the ones that are dead.

Amazon Mechanical Turk (Mturk) script to automatically strike out posts for hits that are already gone or done by users.

    Thank you so much, swole_hamster!!
I get a lot of 'page request exceeded' pages coming up - I wonder if this is why? I use the autoapprove/ghost buster in 1 script. it will do happen several times in a row and I've had HITs expire on me because of it. Could this script be the reason for that, and if so, is there a way to fix it ?

How exactly are you going to "check it out?" You did not write the script. I suggest that you link it to the author of the script, that way you get updates and what not. Also the script was originally intended for MTG and MTF so that is probably why you are getting errors. I would bet if you ask nicely he would probably fix it to work here. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/31...ter-for-forums

Yes, any script that is refreshing/checking mTurk could cause this problem. There isn't a way to fix it as it has to check mTurk to see if the HIT is dead or not.
    It's all good.
