I do - not by choice. To quote Bill Clinton, it's "the economy, stupid."

I'm still an mTurk newbie, but this is a goal of mine. I'm doing better each week, but I'm sure that once I hit that 1000 HIT mark and more of them open up for me I'll do even better. Also, once the 'Private' forums here open up to me, I really should be making some good money each month.

I can't imagine asking a living off turking. I'm planning on earning extra money to blow.

I do. Of course, I'm barely keeping afloat and going to add other things to the mix. But for now, without it I'd be homeless.

Muttix, just keep at it, and at other things. Many of us are in the same boat, so we'll try to row in the same direction.

Thanks, CharSines! It helps when I think about how I'm entirely in control of my income. Sometimes I think fondly of the days when I played on Facebook and drank coffee during the majority of my working hours. But I comfort myself with the thought that the coffee quality is much better here.

I make a living off turking. The past few days I have made more than I did at my last job once you take out taxes and gas money from what I was making there. When I first started it was just to bring in some extra money but hopefully I will be able to keep going like I have been and make a living out of it. Took me awhile to get to this point. Even tho it is my only source of income before it wasn't enough to really call an income.

To those of you just starting out, hang in there, as long as you stick with it you will only go up and earn more.

I certainly hope for this to become my main source of income. But as for right now it's really just a little extra money to help the hubby with the bills.
