Thread: How to email workers directly?

    How to email workers directly?

Question: I had some workers work on a few HIT's and their results were quite good. I have their worker ID's but I dont know how to contact the workers though the MTurk interface.

    Any Suggestions?

Answer: Assuming you haven't deleted the batch or HIT: Go into "Manage", "Manage HITs individually", and then find a HIT that the worker has done, and go into that HIT, go to the approved (or rejected) tab, and find the worker id, click that there is an option for "Send an e-mail message".

Otherwise you will need to use their API directly.

If the worker no longer appears in the "Manage HITS individually" area, you can also use the online "Mechanical Turk Email Sender" here:

Click on the "manage HITs individually" link (upper top right).
Reviewed Assignments: >> click *Download results*
on the bottom left at "Review Submitted Assignments"

you shall see three tabs: *Pending review, approved, rejected*.
Click on the one available for that specific hit

Click on the *workerID* (also at bottom left).

There will be a link to send an email message
    It's all good.

FWIW, if you want to email ALL of your workers, you'll have to use the API NotifyWorkers command:

    It's all good.

Does anyone know where I can find records of emails I have sent to Workers? I see the place to email them when Reviewing Submissions (under Manage HITs Individually), but I can't figure out where to check on emails I've already sent.
