Recently I started making liver treats for my dog, to save some money on dog munchies. And now I am running across all kinds of recipes since I got curious on the subject! What kind of homemade treat's are your dog's favorites?

I have never made any home made dog treats. I am going to try the baby food & wheat germ one that is posted. these liver treat seems easy enough to make I have never ever cooked liver I might be a little scared to try! My dogs would probably be knocking on the door before the timer went off!

For summer, I take an ice cube tray and fill it with cooked rice (usually organic brown, but occasionally organic white) and some homemade chicken broth. If I have a little bit of plain beef or chicken, I'll toss that in as well. After they are frozen, the dogs loooove them and it helps cool them down a little bit on really hot days.
