There are printable Target coupons available for $1 off Papermate pens and $.50 off Scotch tape, making both of those items free (although you would have to pay tax unless you are in the tax-free time for your state).

Also, some great Roseart coupons ran in the 7/29 paper and I made use of those yesterday. They were $1 off any 3 Roseart items and the Roseart markers were $.49 for a package of 10, and, for every box of markers, you got a free 24-count box of Roseart crayons. So, for $.47 after the coupons, I could get 3 boxes of markers and 3 boxes of crayons. I loaded up and plan to donate some of the extras to a school supply drive.

As a future teacher, I sincerely thank you for your considerate donation. As a college student I thank you for letting me know I can get my pens for free!

I know it is off topic, but I saw an ad for many items at officedepot being sold for $0.01.

The only thing i see there is the Elmers glue currently, but I saw spiral notebooks on the television advertisement last night.
Worth checking out.
Also worth checking out is any discount coupons like tina said for target can be paired with manu. coupons and here in Fla. can be used at any Publix supermarket as a competitors coupon.

Also, from experience, Target usually marks the school stuff waaaay down about a week after school starts, so you get just the basics now and then stock up on spiral notebooks and composition books then. I always buy extra and set aside for the rest of the year.
